2020 Fall Baseball at the WBSA

After a successful and safe summer season, the WBSA is pleased to announce that we will be offering 18u, 16u, and 14u programs in the fall.

Coached by All-America Baseball Training and Development owner Vin Carlucci and his staff, the fall travel teams will focus on helping younger players transition to the larger diamond while helping older players sharpen and develop skills and confidently own their positions.

Our program will offer

  • Two practices (2 ½ to 3 hours each) during the week
  • One or two games each weekend. We will try to minimize travel and host as many games as possible.
  • 2-3 coaches per team. Practices will include position-specific work with infielders, outfielders, and pitchers/catchers.

Evaluations:  Evaluations will take place on Saturday, August 22nd from 10 am until 1 pm at the Wilton High School Varsity Field.  Rain date is Sunday, August 23rd from 10 am to 1 pm at the Wilton High School Varsity Field.

To limit the number of players at evaluations, anyone who played summer 2020 baseball with the WBSA is not required to attend. Evaluations will be used to help determine the best team placement.  If you are unavailable for either of the evaluation dates listed above, please contact Coach Vinny Carlucci at (203) 417-5115 to schedule a private evaluation.

Cost:  Total cost of the program is $950. A non-refundable $150 is due upon sign-up and the balance will be due on September 1.

Should the program have to shut down due to concerns over COVID, a refund will be offered for unplayed time.

2020 Fall Season Specifics:

  • Practice and games start approximately the first week of September and end by the third week of October
